Studio Weave were appointed alongside Architecture00 by The British Council to provide partnership mentoring to CANactions; and the appointment was mirrored in Germany by the Goethe Institut, who procured a parallel German partner offering equivalent advisory support to other Ukrainian grantees. Our scope included: providing research guidance and support; shortlisting winning grantees; identifying suitable experts in the UK; and organising a study tour in the UK for the Ukrainian grantees to visit case study projects.

The partnership was established with two principal objectives: first, to develop culture-led solutions to urban issues and mitigating internal displacement and migration issues; and second to run an open call for projects seeking to addressing those themes requiring support at an implementation stage.
