Studio Weave were commissioned by Greenbanks Residential Care Home – a home for adults with moderate to severe learning difficulties and a range of other additional education needs – to design a unique set of facilities to sit separately from the residential buildings surrounded by agricultural land.

Through a process of engagement with staff and residents, the project went beyond designing a new set of buildings; and delivered a narrative for the landscape that opened up imaginative ways of engaging with this natural asset at Greenbanks, as part of a rich learning environment.
